Pretty summer shirt

"As I loved the dress of this design so much, I had to try the shirt. The material is thinner than the dress and this is cropped so it's difficult to pair with bottoms as you need the balance of light materials, rather than a heavy high waist with the very light shirt as you can't really wear something warmer over it or much under it as it would show through. The culottes I've purchased here before don't look right with it as it's too much pattern together, but they would feel a good match. Maybe high-waisted thinner leggings are a winner. The frilly cap sleeves are fun as they flop about a bit, bringing a bit of jolly to the day. It's a lovely shirt, and I welcome the challenge to find more suitable bottoms to go with it next summer."

Almost perfect

"Gorgeous, soft, lightweight piece. Perfect for summer in a hot climate. I prefer a looser fit, so I sized up (from 14 to 16). It fits comfortably. I have a short torso, and this was just barely long enough. Also note that it's unlined and the buttons don't go all the way down, so the shirt tends to flap open a little in the wind. I might add a snap button. I'm very happy with my purchase, but don't recommend it if you have a long torso."

"Love this shirt! The fabric is surprisingly soft and the sleeve detail is perfect. My only negative is the length is quite short. I’ve still given it 5 stars as I have quite a long torso so it’s a bit more of me problem but wanted to mention for anyone with the same proportions."
