Absolutely Gorgeous, I Own It in Three Colors!
"This top is absolutely beautiful and gorgeous! The flocked fern design is stunning, and the mesh gives it such a unique, flattering look. It’s one of those pieces that looks incredible styled in so many different ways, dressed up with a skirt or trousers, layered over a camisole or bralette, or incorporated into a more casual outfit. I love it so much that I now own it in green, burgundy, and black! I do have one important note about the sizing, though, because there is a huge difference between the 20 and the 18. I originally purchased all three in a size 20. The 20 fits nicely through the body and gives me the length I need, which is important because I’m quite tall. However, it was oddly loose in certain areas, particularly around the arms and neckline. The extra fabric around the collar and sleeves made the top look a little messy and didn’t give me the sleek, fitted appearance I wanted. Please see the photos I’ve included. I then purchased the same top in an 18, and the difference is dramatic. The arms and neckline fit much better and look exactly how I want them to, but the body of the 18 is so much smaller and tighter that it almost feels like a crop top on me. The jump from a 20 to an 18 is definitely not subtle! So, if you’re between sizes, I think it really depends on the fit you’re looking for. If you want a very fitted, almost cropped look, the 18 may be perfect. If you’re taller and need more length through the body, the 20 is probably better, just be aware that you may have some extra room through the arms and neckline. Personally, I would love to see a size that falls somewhere between these two because that would be absolutely perfect for me: the body length of the 20 with the neckline and sleeve fit of the 18. That said, despite the sizing quirk, I absolutely LOVE this top. The design is gorgeous, the flocked fern pattern is beautiful, and it’s such a versatile and special looking piece. Clearly, I love it enough to own it in three colors, which probably says everything you need to know! Five stars from me, just be sure to consider the fit you want when choosing your size."
