"I was pleasantly surprised that this bag has held up as well as it has through the last year of use in school. I get many compliments on it and it's well sized for bringing a laptop and a few supplies with me. If I need to carry more I'll use a backpack, but that's the downside of choosing any messenger bag. I have noticed that the way the clips are made, if they're turned the wrong way the seam on the bag's cover will actually open them, so I have taken one star off for insecure clip design. Overall, I think this is a good purchase."

Not functional for everyday use

"The bag is beautiful, however for the price it barely fits anything. The pockets aren’t really functional for storing anything, when you utilize the front pocket the bag doesn’t close properly, and when you utilize the inner pocket it’s hard to fit other items in the inner storage compartment. For how big it is I would expect it to fit much more. Unfortunately this is pretty much just a statement piece rather than a functional bag."

"i unfortunately didnt think to check the details before ordering, i was just too excited about finding such a beautiful looking bag, and it arrived as such. but unfortunately it is made almost entirely out of polyurethane, petrol and plastic. i definitely would NOT have ordered if i realised. such a shame that a reputable and ALTERNATIVE brand is still using so much plastic for their products. please do better disturbia!"

"I didn't and now im stuck with this bag that didn't meet expectations and also broke. I was walking to work with my laptop in this bag this morning and one of the lobster claws snapped off completely. I had to use a ring from my doll charm to hold the two rings together for the rest of the walk. But its only my 3rd time using the bag and it broke. What I didn't read about was the magnetic clasps. The magnets suck, I wanted a secure, adjustable, buckle attachment which all the photos in the atf led me to believe. The magnets dont actually leave room to clasp (with the non adjustable belt loops) when the bag is actually filled with stuff so I couldn't carry it like a briefcase even if I wanted to after the strap broke. For this price? Booooo. I have bought many many clothes and many many homegoods and accessories from Disturbia over the years and this is my first bad experience. I'll keep buying from them, just not anything that includes metal anymore."

"This bag is so pretty and works great for daily use. The closures are magnetic, so there’s no worry about the buckles becoming loose and fraying. The bag is faux-leather, and moderately large, big enough for a laptop or sketchpad and more."

Broken after 5ish months

"I got this in November of 2025 and have been using it as my work bag 4 days a week. Today I got out of my car and one of the clasps holding the long strap to the bag broke. :( I love this bag and I’m sure I can find a replacement clasp, but for $70 I would expect it to last longer than a few months."
