Shape not quite right

"This is a beautiful dress, especially the embroidered pattern. However at a size 18 the proportions are not quite right- as you would expect my bust area is quite big. But my shoulders are quite small. This means that the chest both is tight feeling but loose around the neckline, exposing a large part of my bra especially when I bend over. I’m not sure if I’m just oddly shaped or if this is one of those occasions where the dress was designed for a smaller size and simply made bigger without considering proportions. Unfortunately I didn’t notice this until I had taken the tags off."

Lovely

"Very well made, I love the flowy structure of the material. The embroidery and pockets really elevate it. Based a different dress I ordered that didn’t work out I think they run slightly large so unless you’re large chested I would possibly size down, I am usually a US8 but I chose a US6 and it’s perfectly snug around the waist. The sleeve elastic was too snug for my liking but that’s a common issue I tend to just fix on my own. Would absolutely recommend."

"My Nan brought me this as a treat and I was so excited. It’s a lovely dress, but please tell me why have disturbia started making the seam where the top and skirt of a dress come together tighter than the rest of the dress? It’s so disappointing and annoying. Because of that, it’s not comfy to sit in. Such a shame as the embroidery is beautiful… 🥲😭."
