Great design . . . difficult fit

"I love the look of this top so much. And the fact that it's 100% cotton? I could not wait to get one. But I have tried 2 sizes now, and it's not working for me :( The 6 fit pretty well, was just a little snug in the bust, but it was SO hard to pull on over my head/shoulders. It has very little stretch, was super tight going over, and I was afraid I was going to rip it while putting on. So I tried an 8. That was still tight going on, but not so tight that I feared it would rip. Once I got it on, though, it was too loose around just under my arms. The top hem pops out a bit under each arm and just looks weird. I'm trying to figure out if I can correct this by maybe sewing in some elastic. I don't know. I'm just so sad it isn't working."
