Gorgon Snake Tote Bag Was Worth The Wait. Customer Service Was Not So Great.

"TOTE Bag: 5/5 Customer Service: 1/5 The tote is beautiful. My niece is going to love her holiday gift. It is soft, packable faux suede. Excellent size, and the embroidery is beautiful. The Customer service… eesh. I placed my order on November 23 and received it on December 16. It's the holidays, and I understand packages get misdirected. They get lost or damaged in shipment. I contacted customer service when 10 business days had passed, and I still had not received my order. The first contact was through Shop. com, then 2 days later via their customer contact email. I received an answer that went directly to my SPAM folder what read like an automated AI response. I'm so sorry the package is lost. Make sure you contact us directly in a few more days if you haven't received it. We were about to hit 15 days. . Exactly how late does it need to be? I have worked in retail for well over 30 years. If a customer reached out to me, you better believe I would contact USPS and initiate a lost package trace on their behalf. At this point, the bag had sold out. Of course it has, it's beautiful! I contacted USPS myself, and it took 24 hours to submit my request and another full week to receive my package. It was open, wet, and the paper packaging was disintegrated in spots. Fortunately, the bag inside was wrapped separately in clear plastic, and the holes were not substantial enough for the bag to escape. It wasn't that the bag was lost; that happens. It's that customer service left me hanging during a very busy season. They simply didn't care. I don't know if I will order from them again."

"This is definitely my new go-to handbag. It is gorgeous and looks very chic with most outfits. Perhaps the one drawback is that it only has one button right in the center which always feels a bit risky in certain areas with high pickpocket rates, but other than that I love it."
