"Normally wear a US 16. These fit loose at the waist, fitted at the butt, and loose at the thigh. They are short enough to not feel frumpy and long enough to avoid chafing. The ride up is minimal. Embroidery is splendid."

Love the shorts, a few caveats
"I love the look of these shorts, the color and the embroidery. However, they are a little tight around the waist, and if I got a larger size I think the rear and legs would be way too wide. I'll wear them anyway. The other thing that's not amazing is the smell - there's a chemical odor that I guess is the dye. I think it's gone after washing though."

"The denim is not really stretchy which means it has a structured fit & is really flattering - it's not uncomfortable at all, still enough give in it so you can sit comfortably, but keeps its shape. Perfect!"
