Straight leg, not mom jean, DOESN'T run big
"Either people are straight up lying in other reviews about the sizing, or the production of these pants is so inconsistent it makes size labeling irrelevant. Heeding other reviews insisting these jeans were HUGE, wow so big, drowning in these pants, I decided to buy my true size (US 6) rather than size up for caution. I wouldn't say it was a mistake, because a size up would have left me with gapping at the waist. But unless you have stick thin thighs, these will not be baggy at all. These are straight-legged jeans with absolutely no stretch designed for people with small waists, small hips and skinny thighs. This is not a new issue for for me personally given that I am a thick-thighed girlie, but I don't even have particularly extreme proportions yet these jeans are incredibly tight in the upper thigh. To the point I can barely get these all the way up for the high waist to hit where it's supposed to. And that's fine, but they should be labeled straight leg, not mom jean because the latter implies room in the hips and thighs that these pants simply don't have."
