"It's a beautiful piece, exactly as pictured. However, for something at this price point, I would anticipate there at least be a lining for this item. Since the embroidery thread is metallic, it can be particularly uncomfortable on bare skin (like if your shirt back is low cut). I'm adding a lining to mine, which is more work than I wanted to do."

"Just wow! Rarely do I see something and just purchase it. I'm normally the one who waits, hoping it'll go on sale but by then my size is unfortunately sold out. This is one of those kind of pieces I have dreamed for. . . . to be a elder crone in or fabulous on weekend errands. When it arrived I couldn't believe how incredible it was! The fabric is so soft yet sturdy, and a quality that'll last for many years to come. The embroidery is gorgeous! And a bonus I didn't notice until wearing it, are those sleeves. They are just past the elbow and bell!!! Being a clumsy person, I really don't like long flowy sleeves. This feels to have been made for me, lol. I'm ecstatic to wear this now whenever my heart desires!"
"This piece is such a beauty. I love how fluid the velvet is, it really moves with you. I am 5ft 2 and a size 12, and a Medium fitted perfectly. It's also not too long. I know I am going to wear this piece a lot. I actually wore it to a meeting today and received so many lovely remarks. The gold stitching is a real luxe addition."
"Maybe I over looked it, but the threads in the embroidery are actually metallic and shimmer. I love it! Its also quite light weight, and the material has some nice give/slight stretch to it, making it very comfortable."

"On the whole, I absolutely love it. It's elegant and eye-catching. Of course my date complimented it, since he values his life, but then, so did the bouncer. Twice. In sum, you'll feel like a million bucks in this, and will have a lot of people telling you so, too. One star off because the front hems flop over and hide the cool embroidery around the edges. It's an easy enough fix, even by hand, if you're prepared to spend a few episodes of your favorite show doing some straightforward sewing. Still, for the price point, I would've expected better. Anyways, while I was at it, I added a few eye and hooks, so I've got the option to wear it closed, too. Again, probably something I shouldn't've had to do myself in this price range, but I like being warm. I'm 5'5" and 157 lbs, got a size L, and it's a good fit, loose and comfortable. Definitely looks like a hand wash only situation; I don't trust the embroidery to go thru the machine unscathed."
